Episode 04: Where Animals Find Love and a Home – Rifugio Pasqualina & Friends

In the heart of Poggio Mirteto lies a place where compassion takes center stage: Rifugio Pasqualina & Friends. For years, this refuge has welcomed animals in need of love, care, and a safe home, offering them a space where they can live free and happy while waiting for the best possible adoption.

We had the privilege of spending time with the volunteers who dedicate their days to looking after these wonderful creatures. Each animal has a story, often marked by hardship, but at the refuge those stories find hope and a new beginning.

Listening to the voices of the volunteers and seeing the joy of the animals reminded us of the deep connection between humans and nature, one that is made of respect, kindness, and empathy.
